A small group of NI Farmers attended the 25th Genetic Austria celebrations in Austria in mid-March; there was a National Show of all the top cows in Austria.

We visited 2 different farms in March when we attended the 25th Anniversary of Genetic Austria and the National Show; I have been going to Austria for over 20 years.

RILLE is very special in terms of both her performance and her character. As a first-calf cow in 2011, she produced 45 kilos of milk in her first trial milking.

Here we have a fresh new load of Bulls arriving. These are just some examples of the type of stock we import on a regular basis.

James Wainaina and his wife Naomi from Kenya who were on Honeymoon in London in December but found time to visit the McFarland and Hamilton Farms to see Fleckvieh milking as they are setting up a 60 cow herd in Kenya.

The Magazine called Fleckvieh Changes, published in English for the first time. It details the changes in the Fleckvieh Breed in the past 20 yrs.
