A small group of NI Farmers attended the 25th Genetic Austria celebrations in Austria in mid-March; there was a National Show of all the top cows in Austria.
The improvement in the breed in the last few years has been outstanding in terms of Milk Production and Udder Quality. We also visited a number of farms which the data from their herds is also on our website.

With the growing pressure on milk prices, the Fleckvieh cow has all the tools to withstand the pressure, Milk, Fat and Protein with excellent calf values and cull cow prices. Also, low vet bills and trouble-free cows make her the cow for the future.
